How To Use Google Keyboard on The Nexus 5

Word Suggestions
Tired of manually typing each and every word on your Nexus 5? With Google Keyboard, you can set up word suggestions to automatically provide suggestions based on the previous words and phrases you’ve typed. To enable word suggestions, tap Settings > Personal > Language & input > and under “Keyboard & input methods,” tap the Settings icon next to “Google Keyboard.” Next, tap “Text Correction,” and then check the box next to “Next-word suggestions.”
Cut and Copy
You can cut and copy text with Google Keyboard by selecting either part of all of a section of text and clicking the scissors icon in the top-right corner to cut, or the pages icon to copy. When you are ready to paste the selected text, find an appropriate field that allows pasting and click the clipboard icon in the top-right corner. This should paste the section of text that you cut/copied earlier.
Install New Dictionaries
Yes, you can even install new dictionaries into Google Keyboard. This is done by tapping Settings > Personal > Language & input > and under “Keyboard & input methods,” tap the Settings icon next to “Google Keyboard.” Next, tap “Text Correction, followed by “Add-on dictionaries.” This will reveal a list of dictionaries that you’ve either already downloaded or that you can download. Touch any of the listed dictionaries and choose “Install” to add them to your device’s Google Keyboard.
Add Words To Personal Dictionary
To add words to your personal dictionary, tap Settings > Personal > Language & input > and under “Keyboard & input methods,” tap the Settings icon next to “Google Keyboard.” Next, tap “Text Correction, followed by “Personal Dictionary.” Choose the dictionary you want to add a word to click the + sign. You can then add your own words, which will later appear in your Google Keyboard.
